For the Common Good

I'm reading Jonah Goldberg's book "Liberal Fascism." It does not surprise me that throughout modern history, from The Terror (French Revolution) to the Holdomor to the Killing Fields to present-day Tibet, "progressive" ideas lead to mass-murder. Identity politics elevates the group above the individual. It's wrong.

Beware of social engineers who justify actions "for the common good."
